Blackstone is the world’s largest alternative asset manager. Blackstone’s $1.3 trillion in assets under management include global investment strategies focused on real estate, private equity, credit, infrastructure, life sciences, growth equity, secondaries and hedge funds.
The Fund aims to achieve medium to long-term capital appreciation and, to a lesser extent, generate modest current income by investing primarily in the AUD-denominated “accumulating” share classes of Blackstone Private Equity Strategies Fund SICAV (“Underlying Fund”). The amounts raised from Class A Units may be invested in the class I-IA-AUD shares of the Underlying Fund (which generally is not expected to engage in currency hedging with respect to non-AUD exposure). The amounts raised from Class B Units may be invested in the class I-IA-AUD-H shares of the Underlying Fund (which generally is expected to engage in currency hedging with respect to non-AUD exposure).
The Underlying Fund will primarily focus on privately negotiated, equity-oriented investments, diversified across geographies and sectors.
The Underlying Fund’s investment strategy is to create an attractive portfolio of diversified alternative investments. It intends to remain a disciplined, value-oriented investor engaged in building a portfolio of companies.
